The purpose of this recognition is to annually honor an outstanding American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) member from Pennsylvania who exemplifies dedication to the medical assisting profession. This individual demonstrates compassionate patient care, a strong commitment to professional excellence, and meaningful involvement within their community.
Hardship AAMA Membership Award
The Pennsylvania Society of Medical Assistants Hardship AAMA Membership Award provides financial assistance to help cover annual AAMA membership dues for Pennsylvania medical assistants facing unexpected hardship. This award is intended to support AAMA members who have experienced significant challenges such as a natural disaster, major medical issue, or unexpected unemployment, helping them remain connected to their profession during difficult times.
Applicants must be current or recent AAMA members, and eligible members may receive this award one time only.
PSMA SCHOLARSHIP
The Pennsylvania Society of Medical Assistants (PSMA) Scholarship Award is offered to recognize and support students pursuing a career in medical assisting who demonstrate strong academic achievement and commitment to the profession.
Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Assistant program and meet all application requirements outlined below. Please review the instructions carefully and ensure that all sections of the application are completed and required attachments are included by the stated deadline for consideration.
