The Pennsylvania Society of Medical Assistants is guided by a dedicated group of volunteer leaders who serve as officers and committee members on behalf of our membership. These individuals help uphold the mission of the Society, support professional development throughout the state, and ensure that the organization operates effectively and transparently. Officers provide strategic direction and governance, while committees focus on key areas such as membership, education, certification, bylaws, and ongoing Society initiatives. Together, they represent the collective interests of medical assistants in Pennsylvania and help advance the profession in collaboration with our national association, the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
