How do I join?
When you join or renew your membership with the Pennsylvania Society of Medical Assistants, you become part of a professional community dedicated to supporting medical assistants and the professionals who guide and mentor them. Your membership includes both national membership in the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and active involvement in our Pennsylvania state organization.
Who should join?
Our organization is a great connection for professionals whom work alongside physicians, mainly in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities, such as medical offices and clinics. Medical assistants are essential members of the Patient-Centered Medical Home team. If you’re interested in making professional connections within the medical profession field, our membership is for you!
How long is my membership valid?
The dues year ends on December 31. A new or renewing member with payment on or after September 1 of the current year will be a member until Dec. 31 of the following year. A renewing member would qualify as anyone who has ever been a member.
